This retreat is designed to maximize your ability to experience as much of Europe’s magic and history as possible! This is not a relaxing vacation, but a “worry free, plan nothing” Traveler’s European dream come true. Just show up and allow us to do all the work and executing for you! So you can do nothing but soak up the unique magic & mystery Europe wants to provide you! Six cities bursting with “Ruins & Romance” and gifting you the resolute knowingness that sometimes life’s tragic endings are making way for bigger, better, even more beautiful chapters ahead! All while indulging in mouthwatering foods, breathtaking architecture, and as always sprinkled with life changing breakthroughs Rachelle and Nicole always deliver!

We will begin our journey flying into Paris, France! The City of Lights & Love, Captial of Fashion, Home to The Iron Lady (Eiffel Tower). You’ll see and experience all the “MUSTS” of this dreamy destination; shop along the Champs Élysées, climb the Arc de Triomphe, ascent the Eiffel Tower, and eat all the savory escargot (or yummy crepes) your heart desires. We will also visit the Catacombs of Paris, also known as “the empire of death,” one of the spookiest sights in the city and home to the remains of about 6 million Parisians. While in Paris and in the contract of so much love and death will explore our own relationship to both. Uncovering what is in the way of our next level of love while recognizing and honoring our own mortality. Instilling in us a sense of peaceful urgency…a juxtaposition we rarely accept and assert until it’s far too late. (Think deathbed regrets)

On to Lucerne, Switzerland and driving through some of the most beautiful and incredible landscapes in the world. Visit the poignant Lion Monument, hewn from rock to honor the brave Swiss Guards who died defending King Louis XVI during the French Revolution. There’s time later to shop for chocolate, Swiss Army Knives and watches or perhaps take the world’s only Cabrio cable car to the top of Mount Stanserhorn as part of an Optional Experience. Switzerland is known for being “neutral” on the world stage. Swiss neutrality is one of the main principles of Switzerland’s foreign policy which dictates that Switzerland is not to be involved in armed or political conflicts between other states. This policy is self-imposed and designed to ensure external security and promote peace. While here you will discover for yourself where you may need to “become Swiss” in your own life. Where peace is desired and your participation in other’s conflict can exist no longer.

Leaving Switzerland we make our way to Venice, Italy! On our journey south, the soul-stirring landscapes of the Italian lakes stretch ahead as we venture to Venice, the ‘Queen of the Adriatic’. The Winged Lion of St. Mark stands guard over the city which we’ll have time to explore this afternoon. There’s no better way to see the sights than gliding gracefully through its canals on a gondola ride! Our love affair with Venice continues as we cruise by private launch to St. Mark’s Square and view the city’s iconic sights, including St. Mark’s Basilica, the Doge’s Palace and Piazza San Marco. Stand in the center of the square and capture the historic panorama which Napoleon once called ‘the drawing room of Europe’. The exquisite art of glassblowing for which Venice is justifiably famous follows next. You’ll see master craftsmen engaged in the centuries-old craft that their forefathers passed down from generation to generation.

After Venice we are on our way to beauty that is Florence & Tuscany! No expense was spared to exalt the glory of Florence through art and architecture and you’ll see first-hand how this city paved its way to a modern age. Explore the treasures left behind by the Medici dynasty and famous artists like Da Vinci and Michelangelo (think “The David” and his dick) during an orientation tour which includes a visit to Santa Croce Square, where some of the most famous sons of the Renaissance are buried. Enjoy time to shop for souvenirs or the city’s famous gold and leathercraft.

Finally, we are on our way to the “Eternal City” that is Rome! There’s no better way to see Rome than to dive right in, which is what we’ll do when we meet our Local Guide for a sightseeing tour that begins in Vatican City. The dome of St. Peter’s Basilica looms over the expansive St. Peter’s Square – the impressive backdrop for time spent learning about the world’s smallest country. See Michelangelo’s mournful Pietà up close and an experience that will reveal the artistry and heritage of the famous Sistine Chapel and Vatican Museums. Continue to Ancient Rome, to view the mighty Colosseum and other ruins along the way! Followed by time to explore on your own or with the new friends you’re made along our European Adventure. We will close out the core part of our retreat together by creating a “holistic roadmap” of the manifestations, dreams, and next chapters Europe revealed to us as individuals along the way. And discover exactly why we were brought together (again 😉 from the influencing of powers that be that are beyond on sight!
